You may have heard the rumors that we’re rolling out an e-commerce component to our creative platform. Well, it’s no rumor…it’s the truth, and nothing but the truth! Very, very soon you’ll be able to create & purchase your very own customized products (t-shirts, iPhone skins, posters, balls, cards, etc). Check out our videos to see what you can expect.
Video 1 : What We’re About
Video 2 : Potential Partners Video
And just to prove to you it’s not just animation fluff, take a look at our guys showing off some of our product samples. Can you tell we trust in our own product? They stuck these custom (and removable) skins on their very own iPhones! They just need to remember to smile for the camera next time. Except Chaim, of course. He’s always smiling.

Thanks to everyone who has submit comments, questions and feedback to us about the MashON applications. We definitely hear you, and take all your suggestions into consideration. We’ve been busy addressing updates with our UI (which you’ll get to see in the coming month), but I bet you’re thinking one thing: what has MashON done for me lately?
We’ve taken some of the most asked for requests and made them happen. Poof, like magic! Included features/updates we’ve recently addressed are:
- transparent text boxes in the E-Card and Creator (so you can just type text freely, instead of being confined by a bubble/caption image with a white background)
- larger fonts (oh yeah, we go all the way up to size 144 now!)
- ability to print your comic books (to your local printer)
- ability to purchase comic books and have them professionally printed (only comic books for now; other template types available soon) — just click the “buy now” button when you see it for a comic book that has professional printing enabled.
- simple double click to edit text bubbles in the E-Card and Creator (quick and easy way to erase the “type text here” and write your own words!)
- fixed two nasty bugs: one had to do with issues deleting user’s assets, while the other had to do with the cursor getting stuck and disappearing while resizing clip art.
- we’ve put a leash on the tool palette, so it doesn’t appear every single time you drag an asset to a page (yay)
Have something you want to let us know about? Each of our applications has a “Feedback” button (just look for the ON comic bubble) where you can submit suggestions, questions, new feature requests, and brilliant words of praise. Alternatively, you can head to the Contact Us page and submit there as well. Finally, you can also find us on Twitter and Facebook. Follow us, be our friend…show us some social networking love.
PS. Did you notice we timed this post to coincide with a very special date and time? 12:34:56 on 7/8/09. Happens once a century!
