Can’t decide what to have for lunch?! We can’t either so we all got together and had ourselves a potluck lunch! Everyone in the office contributed to the lunch and brought a dish for everyone to share. We chowed down on some sushi, fruit & veggies, fried chicken, chow mein, and McDonald’s fries. Leen made little cupcake desserts that looked like hamburgers! I wish everyday could be a potluck day.

Inspired by Foursuare’s weekly “Tiesday,” the crew here at MashON decided to get fancy and have a Tie Tuesday of our own! Our office is very casual, but who says we can’t spice it up once in a while?

Today at MashON, we celebrate May 5, a holiday to acknowledge the Mexican heritage and traditions. Our whole team got together and had a fiesta that included fresh salsas, chili con queso and other tasty snacks! We had blow-up sombreros, real sombreros and the colors of the Mexican flag. There is always an excuse for MashOn to party!

It’s only been just over a week since we launched the BOP/TigerBeat STAR CARD, and it’s become the hottest thing since the Miley Cyrus’ Wonder World Tour kicked off a few weeks ago. So as a token of their appreciation for all the hard work that went into this launch, we received a delivery of customized cupcakes from the BOP/TigerBeat team yesterday. It’s hard to call it work when you’re having this much fun. Great work, Team MashON! And thanks to the BOP/TigerBeat team for the opportunity and the appreciation!

What do you get when your birthday falls on your 1 year anniversary with MashON? Your MashONiverthday! Only one MashONster has been so lucky to experience this phonemenon — the only and only Ed Freese, writer of our most recent blog posts and all around super awesome guy. Watch as we surprise him with desk decorations and serenade him with a singing cat from YouTube.
